All who knew Jeff knew him as a jovial, exciting and slap happy individual.  At 53, he left us way too early.  Keep him and his family in your prayers and remember that faith in God, which he had, gives meaning and purpose to human life...

AGE: 53 -  CRESCENT CITY , FLORIDA

Jeffery (Jeff) G. Capps of Crescent City , FL died after a short illness on Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville , FL.  Born in Morristown , NJ , Jeff grew up in the Randolph area, graduating from Randolph High School in 1973.  He was employed by several construction firms as a dispatcher.  Loving the game of golf, he also became an avid NASCAR follower, attending numerous races in the Florida region every year.  He also was a devoted member of the New Jersey Jaycees during the 1970’s and early 1980’s becoming a local president of the Randolph Jaycees and working his way to New Jersey District Director.
     Jeff is survived by his beloved son, Stephen; his loving grandson Tyler; three brothers, Greg of Orlando, FL, Rod of Randolph, NJ, Mike of Rockaway, NJ, his twin sister, Beverly Rodkewitz of Wharton , NJ ; and many nieces and nephews.
     Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a memorial service on Sunday, March 1 at 3:00 pm at Wharton United Community Church , 20 Church Street , Wharton , NJ 07885 .  Cremation services were held privately.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Saint  Andrew's Lighthouse, Inc.1797 Beach Boulevard
